Ready to submit a proposal? Pre-award (from the preparation of a proposal to submission to the agency to award negotiation and acceptance) are all centralized at the campus level at UCSF. Each division in the Office of Sponsored Research (OSR) is responsible for working one-on-one with faculty to prepare, sign off as the institutional official, and submit any funding proposals on their behalf. All proposals must flow through OSR in order for any awarded funds to be received by UCSF.
PIs should work with the teams that have been assigned to their academic department for any sponsored projects. Find who supports you at Find My Support | Office of Sponsored Research (ucsf.edu).
