Grand Rounds – Children's Health

Pediatric Grand Rounds (BCH Oakland led)

Grand Rounds at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland is a weekly forum for clinicians to discuss the latest developments in pediatric care, allowing child healthcare providers to gain new knowledge about a wide range of pediatric topics and enhance their clinical skills. Grand Rounds are held each Tuesday at 8:00 am – typically held in the BCH Oakland Outpatient Center Auditorium. Grand Rounds video archive.  Password: CHRCO (case-sensitive)

Pediatric Grand Rounds (UCSF led)

Pediatric Grand Rounds are held every Thursday from 12:00-1:00 pm – typically held in the William and Susan Oberndorf Auditorium (MBH A1602) from September – June. All physicians, residents, students, and alumni are invited to attend. Visit the Grand Rounds website for topics and additional information.

Continuing Medical Education (CME)

UCSF School of Medicine Continuing Medical Education (CME)

The UCSF Office of Continuing Medical Education, as part of the UCSF School of Medicine, offers educational opportunities for physicians and other health care professionals who wish to improve their skills as practitioners. UCSF is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and offers over 200 courses a year, including grand rounds certified for CME credit. These programs cover all medical specialties and serve more than 13,000 participants annually. 

UCSF Department of Pediatrics Continuing Medical Education (CME)

The Department of Pediatrics offers two major programs to support continuing medical education. There, you will find information for Pediatric Grand Rounds and Advances & Controversies in Clinical Pediatrics.

BCH Oakland Continuing Medical Education (CME)

UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Each activity is designed to meet identified educational needs in clinical practice and pediatric healthcare delivery. There you will find information for: Continuing Medical Education, Pediatric Grand Rounds, Pediatric Specialist Lecture Series, Annual Monterey Pediatrics Conference, and Nursing Grand Rounds.

Medical Student Education

Each year, UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland provides pediatric training to approximately 120 medical students from medical schools throughout the United States and especially UCSF.
